Afeela
A new automotive brand called Afeela—the child of a joint venture between Sony and Honda—is about to break cover in 2026 with its first model, a smooth-sided EV sedan. A prototype was revealed at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, flaunting a handsome, low-key design that’s in line with most new-to-market electric vehicles such as the Lucid Air and Tesla Model S . We still don’t know what the production model will be called, but we did learn some intriguing details about its content and features. For instance, a total of 45 cameras and sensors are scattered throughout the inside and outside of the vehicle, and it sports a powerful on-board computer. Other technological highlights include a cutting-edge architecture for driver-assistance and telematics systems, an infotainment system enhanced by a collaboration with Epic Games, and a self-driving feature.
